History of the M-43 Jacket
The M-1943 field jacket was the U.S. Army's answer to the need for a versatile infantry uniform suitable for varied climates, improving upon its less practical predecessor, the M-1941 Parsons jacket. It was officially introduced in late 1944, just in time for use by Allied troops, including the 82nd and 101st Airborne divisions, during operations in Europe after D-Day.

-Condition: Good condition. There is a small hole on the sleeve. The line on the back is part of the fabric, a small rust stain on the flap of the collar, The right chest pocket was made with excess fabric, shown on pictures.
