The front displays the LAKERS wordmark and number 9 in purple with white outline. Number 9 was worn by Nick Van Exel during his years with the Los Angeles Lakers from 1993 to 1998. One of the most exciting point guards of the decade, Van Exel became a fan favorite thanks to his fearless scoring ability, deep shooting range, and clutch performances during the Lakers' resurgence in the mid-1990s. The embroidered NBA logo patch and Champion C logo sit at the chest, consistent with mid-to-late 1990s Champion production.
