Selected second overall in the 1994 NBA Draft, Kidd made an immediate impact, earning co-NBA Rookie of the Year honors before going on to become one of the greatest point guards in basketball history. A Hall of Fame inductee, NBA champion, and one of the all-time leaders in assists and steals, Kidd remains one of the most important players ever to wear a Mavericks jersey.
