The front displays the arched NEW YORK wordmark and number 1 in orange with white outline. Number 1 was worn by Allan Houston during his nine seasons with the New York Knicks from 1996 to 2005. One of the most respected shooters of his era, Houston became a cornerstone of the Knicks throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s. He is best remembered for his iconic game-winning jumper against the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the 1999 first-round playoff series, a shot that helped propel New York on its historic run to the NBA Finals as an eighth seed. The embroidered NBA logo patch and embroidered Champion C logo sit at the chest, consistent with late-1990s Champion production.
