Bryant “Big Country” Reeves wore No. 50 for the Vancouver Grizzlies from their inaugural 1995–96 season through their final season in Vancouver in 2001. The 7'0" center from Gans, Oklahoma was selected sixth overall in the 1995 NBA Draft, becoming the first draft pick in Grizzlies franchise history.
Reeves quickly became one of the defining faces of the expansion-era Grizzlies. His No. 50 remains closely associated with Vancouver’s original teal uniforms and one of the most distinctive visual identities of 1990s NBA basketball.
