🇺🇸🪖 This rare 1965 first-model M-65 Field Jacket represents the earliest evolution of one of the most iconic garments in U.S. military history. Produced only during 1965–1966, these first-issue jackets feature the distinctive no-epaulette design, associated with the earliest “DSA 100” contracts. Highly sought after by collectors, this transitional model bridges the gap between the M-51 and the later standardized M-65.
Constructed from the classic 50% cotton / 50% nylon fabric blend, it offers natural wind and light rain resistance. Core design elements include the stand-up collar with concealed hood, zip and snap storm front, four functional pockets, adjustable cuffs, and internal drawstrings.
